CHEBOYGAN – A year ago, Cheboygan volleyball thought it was in a good spot.

After a first-round district win over Kalkaska , the Chiefs had an opportunity to reach the final.

Three set losses to Boyne City later, Cheboygan’s season ended in disappointing fashion.

For Cheboygan’s current seniors like Makaela Steiner and Presley Chamberlain, they had a lot of time to think about that loss in the offseason, learn from it, and do their best to make amends.
