On Thursday, opposition BJP MLAs clashed with NC MLAs in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly. As soon as the House proceedings began, BJP leaders stood up and demanded the suspension of Question Hour. They stated that there should be a half-hour discussion in the House on the flood-affected areas of Jammu. However, Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather requested the BJP MLAs to let the Question Hour proceed.
BJP members did not agree and remained firm on their demand. As the uproar intensified, BJP MLA Shagun Parihar from Kishtwar started moving towards the well of the House, but the female Watch and Ward staff stopped her.
