Weather forecasters are saying we could be in for quite the chilly Halloween in the Wilmington area -- though it looks like an advancing storm will have passed us before the Oct. 31 holiday.
The Wilmington area has been seeing rain early in the week, but the National Weather Service in Wilmington is predicting that the wet weather will clear out on Thursday, Oct. 30.
Halloween day itself is set to be beautiful, with sunny skies and a high temperature near 66. There will be some wind, however, with gusts as high as 20 mph expected.
That night, temperatures will plummet to a low of 43 -- so choose your costume carefully if you'll be outside during Halloween.
Saturday will also be sunny and warm, but the evening will see similiar chilling temperatures, with a low of 46 expected that night
