LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The premiums for the 2026-27 school year will increase 7.25% overall for the medical and dental insurance plans used by nearly every Nebraska school district, following action by the Educators Health Alliance (EHA), a consortium of three statewide public school groups that manages the plan.
All medical insurance rates will increase by 7.44%, and dental insurance rates will increase by 3.17% for active employees and retirees from the 2025-26 rate level.
