COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State returns to the field on Saturday for another showdown with Penn State.

But for the first time since 2019, only the Buckeyes come into this contest as a ranked team. The Nittany Lions on the other hand, have had a disappointing season, resulting in them firing their head coach, James Franklin .

They are also down a quarterback with Drew Allar suffering a season-ending injury. That’s thrust Ethan Grunkemeyer into the spotlight as he’ll make his second start. His first resulted in a road loss to Iowa, where things weren’t always pretty. Will his second be more of the same?
