EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The Taco John’s on St. Joseph Avenue is doing what they can to help those who will no longer be receiving SNAP benefits.
According to their officials Facebook page, they say with SNAP benefits being cut and people not being paid to work, they have a lot of people that could use some help.
They say they’re offering a free meal to anyone who needs it. All they ask is that you come visit the store and ask for the “Community Special.”
They’re offering a bean or beef burrito, along with an order of Potato Oles for anyone in need with no questions asked.
Taco John’s officials say their number one job is to feed the community and are going to make sure everyone can have a hot meal no matter what.
