COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Police arrested a man Wednesday evening after he allegedly stole a car the night before.
According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), the theft occurred in the 500 block West of Garden of the Gods Road Tuesday night.
Police said the owner of a dark silver 1998 Toyota Corolla left his vehicle in this area running with the key in the ignition. When he returned, the car had been stolen.
Detectives found the Toyota Wednesday at 5:45 p.m. in the area of East Fountain Boulevard and South Chelton Road.
Police said detectives followed the car and later identified the driver as Nickolaus Taylor, 33.
