Premier Tony Wakeham says the resignation letter of former Independent Churchill River Negotiation Oversight Panel member Michael Wilson will be made public today.
Wilson resigned from the panel back in may after “new information” revealed during a meeting caused him “great concern.”
Over the last few months Wilson says he has given as much detail as he can on why he chose to resign, but has ultimately been bound by a non-disclosure agreement.
Wakeham says after today, Wilson will be able to speak freely.
He says Wilson’s resignation letter will be released, and he will be freed from his NDA – allowing him to speak on the MOU and his role with the panel.
Meanwhile, Wakeham also addressed previous reports, such as the Rothschild report, which his party had been asking to be made public
