A soft play centre says it is investigating after a shocked mum found a 'half dead mouse' at the venue.

Ashley Adlard, 39, had taken two of her children to Yellow Sub, in Liverpool, to play for the afternoon on Monday (October 27) when she says she made the discovery close to where babies and toddlers were playing.

"We got there about 3pm," she told the Liverpool Echo . "My two children are six and seven but they both have special needs and so they prefer going into the babies and toddler area.

"But there were lots of small babies in that area so I went to get them to take them to the other area."
