Lil Wayne’s Lil WeezyAna Fest started in 2015 at Champions Square as a commemoration of the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina and a celebration of New Orleans’ recovery. The initial event’s success turned Lil WeezyAna Fest into an annual event. Each year, New Orleans’ best-known rapper is joined by a slew of surprise guests.
