And that is at Club Cafe , housed in Ayu Bakehouse at 801 Frenchman St. in the Marigny.

Aurora Jiminez runs the sober dance party that welcomes anyone of any age looking to have fun and enjoy baked goods and beverages before 10 p.m., when many late-night parties begin.

"Start here and then go on their way and be loaded with carbs and delicious, caffeinated beverages," Jiminez said.

"Our community service," Ayu Bakehouse co-owner Kelly Jacques chimed in.

Jiminez and former pastry chef Merve Milla last year pitched the idea of a dance party at the bakery to Jacques and co-owner Samantha Weiss last year.
