Some Americans are stuck in Jamaica after Hurricane Melissa ripped through the island, and they are helping with cleanup efforts before returning home.
A group of 12 friends from Oklahoma vacationing in Jamaica rode out the worst of the storm.
"We've got people out here from all over the world, and we're all helping,” said Mike Morris.
Morris first spoke with sister station KOCO on Monday, just hours before he hunkered down during the hurricane.
"The front side of the storm was a lot of rain and some wind, then it kind of passed by and we were close to being in the eye, so it wasn't terrible, but you could feel it going around the building," he said.
