PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A sunny, dry and warm day is ahead for the Valley and state. In Phoenix, look for a high of 90 degrees today, which is six degrees above normal for this time of year in the Valley.

Winds will be lighter across the state today as a trough of low pressure exits our region. High pressure is being pushed slightly south, causing temperatures to drop a degree or two over the next few days.

Upper 80s are expected in the Valley on Halloween. After an afternoon high of 88 degrees, look for trick-or-treating temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s. Skies should be mostly clear and winds light for Halloween.
