The Tiprasa Accord, which has been in near limbo since its signing on March 2, 2024, will see brisk movements in the coming weeks to ensure a speedy implementation.
Highly placed sources within the Tipra Motha said that the Centre has asked the Manik Saha government in Tripura to submit its views on the Accord.
As per sources, Chief Minister Manik Saha and the Tripura Chief Secretary will meet Tipra Motha founder Pradyot Debbarma and other top Motha leaders before the state government submits its recommendations.
Despite its signing almost 2 years ago, there has been little movement on the implementation front.
