Zephyr’s Quayde Heard (10) and the Bulldogs to secure no worse than a share of the District 13-A Division II championship with a win over Sidney Friday

The Zephyr Bulldogs can ensure no worse than a share of their fourth consecutive district championship with a victory over the Sidney Eagles, who are still seeking their first victory against a varsity squad, in Friday’s home finale.

Zephyr is coming off a 30-20 victory at Blanket Saturday, a game in which the Bulldogs came out on top despite being outgained in total yardage, 281-231.

The Bulldogs put forth a balanced attack the featured 116 rushing yards and 115 passing yards. Chayden Woodcock led the ground game with 85 yards and a touchdown, while Quayde Heard completed 5 of 7
