Folk and Americana artist Yasmin Williams will perform at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 5, at the Weis Center for the Performing Arts, Bucknell University, 1 Dent Drive, Lewisburg.
A guitarist and composer, Williams is known for her compositional approach and expansive instrumental style. Her first two albums, “Unwind” and “Urban Driftwood,” introduced her unique approaches, such as playing kalimba and guitar simultaneously while also incorporating instruments like the kora, harp guitar and banjo. Williams’ latest album “Acadia,” released in 2024, showcases her evolution from solo performer to collaborative artist, featuring notable guest musicians like Aoife O’Donovan and Immanuel Wilkins.
