A woman was taken to hospital after a crash blocked a major M-road. Emergency services were called to a single-vehicle crash along the M11 near Duxford just after midday on Thursday (October 30).

A woman was taken to hospital by the East of England Ambulance Service with minor injuries. An ambulance spokesperson said: “We were called shortly after 12pm with reports of a road traffic collision on the M11 northbound at junction 10 involving a single vehicle.

“We dispatched an ambulance, an ambulance officer vehicle and the Hazardous Area Response Team to the scene. An adult female was transported to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with minor injuries.”
