New Delhi: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced special early morning services to make travel easier for passengers returning to the capital after celebrating the Chhath festival. The facility, which began on Wednesday, October 30, will continue until November 3, providing commuters with additional convenience during the busy festive period.
According to an official notice issued by the DMRC, metro services will begin at 5:15 AM from two key stations, Anand Vihar and New Delhi Railway Station, for five consecutive days. The decision has been taken in view of the large number of passengers arriving in Delhi from Bihar and eastern Uttar Pradesh, many of whom depend on the metro for onward travel within the city.
