SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — A man has been booked into the Salt Lake County Jail after allegedly attacking a man with a bat on Wednesday evening.
Travis Martin, 35, has been charged with one count of aggravated assault (third-degree felony) and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia (class B misdemeanor).
According to court documents, on Wednesday evening, law enforcement was dispatched to the area of 200 Sout and 700 West in Salt Lake City for a report of an assault with a weapon. Allegedly, Martin had attacked someone with a bat before fleeing on a bicycle.
When police found the victim, they were in a wheelchair and had visible bruising. They were transported to the University of Utah Hospital.
Martin was later found in the area of Jeremy Street. Law enforcement shared that he had
