Today at Reno High School the freshman football team celebrated their team manager Zachary King.
Zach is a student with special needs and has been the team manager since May. The junior in high school loves football and being the team hype man, lifting up his teammates and even making hype videos.
During the game against North Valley's, Zach was the honorary team captain, carried the Reno Huskies flag onto the field, and scored a touchdown on the first play of the game.
His head coach TJ Mays told us just how important Zach is to the team,
"He's a real example of you don't need to be QB1 to be a part of the team"..."He's mostly our hype man...he gets us going when we're down and he gets the kids hyped."
