With the season at the midway point, it is a good time to take stock of the decisions made that have led to a 2-6 record thus far. The draft is one of those areas where it is essential to reflect on the selections made and determine if anything could have been done differently.

In the 2025 draft, the Cleveland Browns chose to trade down to the fifth pick and select defensive tackle Mason Graham. While Graham has had an impressive rookie season and has made an impact on the defense, there are several other major issues with the Browns’ roster. Even though Graham is a great player, an asset at a different position may have been able to make a much greater impact on the result this season.
