BATON ROUGE, La (Louisiana First)- Are you ready to boot scootin’ boogie? Boots on the Bayou will be this weekend in Ascension Parish, and the festivities are just getting started.

Put on your cowboy boots because this weekend is Boots on the Bayou, a country music festival at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center. The lineup is a mix of national and local names. Some of the big names include Keith Urban, Chris Stapleton, Riley Green, and the Chase Tyler Band.

Event coordinator Lillie Pastorick said there are definitely two names she is pumped for.

"I am the most excited to see Keith Urban, I cannot wait for that, and then we obviously have Chris Stapleton, and that's another big name," said Pastorick.
