BOSTON —
A Dublin firefighter convicted of raping a woman in Boston during last year's St. Patrick's Day celebrations was sentenced Thursday.
Terrence Crosbie , 39, was sentenced to not less than seven years and not more than nine years in prison. He will serve his sentence in Souza Baranowski Correctional Center.
"I'm reminded constantly of the horrible thing that was done to me. It has been a struggle to heal," she said before Crosbie was sentenced. "I ask the court to consider the lasting impact this has had on my health, my well-being, my work, on the lives of those who love me and have stood by me to support my healing."
