Baseball fans and those jumping on the Blue Jays bandwagon are invited to gather in downtown Windsor Friday night to watch the World Series on the big screen.

With Canada’s team one win away from the championship title, the City of Windsor and Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association are partnering to host a Game 6 World Series watch party at City Hall Square.

“What a fantastic time for sports fans in Windsor,” said Ward 3 Coun. Renaldo Agostino.

“I’m proud to help bring the excitement of the World Series back to the core, where we’re keeping the energy going downtown as we cheer on Canada’s very own Toronto Blue Jays.

“This is another great opportunity to celebrate our community, create memories, enjoy an unforgettable experience together, and make magic in the downtown core.
