BOSTON (WWLP) - Governor Maura Healey has launched a new SNAP Resource Hub and advanced $4 million to local food banks to support Massachusetts families affected by the upcoming freeze on SNAP benefits starting November 1st.
The new SNAP Resource Hub, available at Mass.gov/SNAPFreeze, provides information for families facing hunger and ways for individuals and businesses to assist. The Governor's initiative comes in response to President Trump's decision to freeze SNAP benefits, which will impact over one million Massachusetts residents.
