In what was supposed to be a massive slate of Southeastern Conference games before the season, this week has evolved into fewer showdowns with national implications.

Prior to the season, this week was marked as a big week for big games. But with the demise of a few teams, including Florida and South Carolina, there are only a handful of teams that will play in conference elimination games this week in Austin and Knoxville.
