Christian Barmore was mum on his benching.
The Patriots’ star defensive tackle did not play for the entire first quarter during the team’s 32-13 win over the Browns on Sunday in New England due to disciplinary reasons.
“I’ve moved on, next question,” Barmore told reporters Wednesday. “Let’s focus on the Falcons.”
When pressed further, Barmore said the situation is “about growing,” but did not reveal what he did to warrant the punishment.
He said that he is on good terms with head coach Mike Vrabel.
“That’s my guy,” Barmore said. “Of course.”
Barmore is in the second season of the four-year, $83 million extension he signed in 2024.
After Sunday’s game, Vrabel did not give much detail into why he disciplined Barmore.
