SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WCIA) -- About 130 people were left without power in Springfield overnight after a truck crashed into a power pole and a community home overnight.
The crash happened in the area of 9th and Miller Streets, and it resulted in a power outage between 8th and 10th Streets. The crash and outage also affected traffic, as the intersection of 9th and Grand Avenue became a four-way stop and northbound 9th Street was closed at Carpenter Street.
Officials said that power was expected to be restored by 11 a.m., and CWLP's outage map showed the issue was resolved around that time.
