With the government shutdown dragging on, SNAP benefits on hold, and the unemployment rate at 4.3%, the highest rate since October 2021 at the tail end of the pandemic, jobs are again a concern in the United States.

Personal finance website WalletHub has issued its annual study of the best states for job seekers, with Minnesota ranking in the top 10. The study dug into 34 indicators of job-market strength across all 50 states.

Minnesota ranked eighth in the study's job market score and fourth in economic environment, two scores that combine to place the state in third place overall, the same spot it finished last year.
