Syracuse, N.Y. — Kemon Spell, the No. 1 running back in the Class of 2027, has canceled his Friday visit to Syracuse, he told 247Sports.

Spell’s McKeesport (Pennsylvania) team has a playoff game against Chartiers Valley at the same time as Syracuse’s game against North Carolina.

Spell, who arranged his visit after decommitting from Penn State, led McKeesport to an undefeated conference record and the No. 1 seed in Class 4A.

Arranging a visit for Spell around another home game will be tough as Syracuse’s next home game is Nov. 29, the Orange’s season finale against Boston College.

Spell already has a visit to Michigan arranged that week for its annual game against No. 1 Ohio State, according to On3 .

Spell is scheduled to visit Georgia on Nov. 15, Syracuse’s bye week.
