New Delhi: Jemimah Rodrigues slammed a century as India pulled off a record chase to qualify for the Women’s World Cup final with a five-wicket win against defending champions Australia at Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai on Thursday, October 30.

Chasing a record target of 339 runs, Rodrigues played a sensational knock, scoring an unbeaten 127 off 134 balls, while skipper Harmanpreet Kaur also made a crucial 89 off 88 deliveries.

The duo stitched a match-winning 167-run partnership for the third wicket. Deepti Sharma (24) and Richa Ghosh (26) played crucial cameos as India chased down the target with nine balls to spare.
