MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WXIX) - A suspect is facing aggravated vehicular homicide charges in connection with a crash that happened two months ago.
Nicholas Dearth was indicted in the crash that killed Stephen Howard on Aug. 23, Butler County court records show.
The crash happened on Central Avenue near Alameda Circle.
Middletown police told FOX19 NOW on Sept. 4 that the driver, now identified as Dearth, was suspected of being under the influence when the crash happened.

Middletown Police Chief Earl Nelson said in early September that Dearth’s blood was drawn and sent to the crime lab to be analyzed.
As of Sept. 4, the results had not come back yet.
