A man was arrested Wednesday in connection with a shooting that injured another man on 7th Avenue North, according to the Columbus Police Department.

Officers responded around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, to the 1800 block of 7th Avenue North for a reported gunshot victim. Police found 41-year-old Bobby Brewer Jr. with a single, non-life-threatening gunshot wound. He was transported to Baptist Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Following an investigation, 35-year-old Arsenio Reynolds, was arrested on Oct. 29 and charged with Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, authorities said. Reynolds is being held at the Lowndes County Adult Detention Center pending an initial court appearance.
