CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Jenkins Subaru Hyundai is launching a community food drive in partnership with the United Way of Harrison and Doddridge Counties to support local food pantries and families in need.
Beginning Monday, donations of non-perishable food items can be dropped off at Jenkins Subaru Hyundai, located at 750 Lodgeville Road, Bridgeport. The drive will run through the end of December, with all collected items distributed by the United Way to food pantries serving Harrison and Doddridge counties.
"No one should have to worry about where their next meal is coming from," said Matt Jenkins, general manager at Jenkins Subaru Hyundai.
"This drive is about showing up for each other and making sure families have what they need."
The idea for the food drive came from a conversation bet
