SOMERSET, Pa. —

A sheriff in Western Pennsylvania is accused of making sexually explicit comments to a 15-year-old girl during a Shop with a Cop event last year.

Somerset County Sheriff Dustin Weir, 46, has been charged with corruption of minors after the event last year at an area Walmart. Advertisement

According to officials, the girl was helping with a photo booth in December of 2024 when Weir and another sheriff's office employee approached her. A release stated the girl wanted to stay in the booth but felt pressured to follow Weir to an area where there were condoms.

Weir allegedly made sexual remarks and asked the teenager if she had used condoms or if she had sex.

The report claims he also mentioned to the girl what he would do to her if he was her boyfriend.
