EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- A 25-year-old man is facing multiple charges, including attempted murder, after "violently" assaulting his brother, who had to be airlifted with serious injuries earlier this month in Deming, according to the Sixth Judicial District Attorney's Office.
Manuel Carrazco Jr., 25, was charged with kidnapping in the first degree, attempted second-degree murder, and tampering with evidence. He is being held without bond, according to the DA’s Office.
On Tuesday, Oct. 14, the Deming Police Department received a report from Carrazco's mother, stating Carrazco arrived at her home covered in blood. Carrazco told his mother that he had been drinking at his brother's house "when a violent altercation occurred," the DA’s Office said.
