APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) - Police described it as 'disturbing and intrusive' behavior as a local man was arrested for stalking behavior.
According to the Appleton Police Department, a 30-year-old Appleton man was arrested after an investigation. Authorities say the man had a yearlong pattern of disturbing and intrusive behavior.
The investigation reportedly showed the suspect used a dating application to arrange meetings between unknown men and the victim. Police said the dating app used was Grindr.
The suspect would allegedly pose as the victim and tell the men to go to the victim's home and enter the residence.
This reportedly happened over the course of more than a year. The suspect would reportedly sit nearby to watch the men arrive. This ultimately led to his arrest, police say.
