GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - With Halloween trick-or-treating happening tomorrow, the Green Bay Police Department is reminding families to stay safe while having fun.
Trick-or-treating hours in Green Bay are from 4 to 7 p.m., and officers are encouraging both kids and parents to take extra precautions.
They say at least one person in every group should wear something reflective to help drivers and others see them in the dark.
Police also emphasize the importance of crossing streets safely and avoiding interactions with strangers.
“I know that kids want to get the candy and they know the houses that have the good candy. But use the cross walks. Also stay in a group with parents, avoid strangers, someone comes up to you that you don't know, ignore them,” said Lt. Steve Mahoney from the Green
