VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. (WEVV) — The Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office conducted a county-wide compliance operation focused on registered sex and violent offenders on Thursday, resulting in three arrests.

Throughout the day, deputies visited the registered homes and workplaces of offenders to verify addresses, employment, and other registry information, according to VCSO. In some cases, deputies interviewed household members to confirm the registrant’s residence and compliance.
