A system is expected to bring us a chance for some much-needed rain, especially on Saturday. Areas in our southern and eastern sections possibly picking up around a quarter to a third of an inch.
We're also looking at below-average temperatures continuing through the weekend, with the coolest air we’ve seen areawide expected on Sunday. In fact, we're forecasting frost to become more widespread across the region early Sunday morning, and especially early Monday morning. Most of the region will only reach the cool middle 50s on Sunday.
Looking ahead to next week, we forecast south winds to return, which will help temperatures climb back to seasonal averages on Monday and then climb above average for the remainder of the week.
