EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — As Thanksgiving Day fast approaches, KTSM is taking you behind the scenes for an exclusive look at what it takes to create the incredible floats that bring the Glasheen, Valles & Inderman Injury Lawyers Sun Bowl Parade to life each year.

Our latest spotlight is on a whimsical float called “Fair Ventures,” sponsored by El Paso Electric Company.

Joe Daubach, Special Events Director for the Sun Bowl Association, says this float captures the spirit of this year’s parade theme perfectly.

"The theme is childhood is where dreams are born," he explained. "And when you're a kid, you always dream to get back to the fair, go to the state fair, enjoy all the food, the rides and all the fun that it entails."
