Somerset Council approved a couple of zone changes at its Monday meeting, and also held some first readings on some complicated zone change requests that will require further research by council members.

The two zone changes approved dealt with a property on Parkers Mill Way that will be changed from a Residential-1 (single family dwelling) to Residential-3 (apartment units), and a property on Pumphouse road that will be changed from Residential-2 (duplex or triplex) to Residential-3.
