Prince Andrew has been stripped of his final vestige of Royal standing as Buckingham Palace confirmed the disgraced duke is officially departing his 30-bedroom residence, Royal Lodge. ‌

The Palace this evening released a statement confirming King Charles has commenced proceedings to remove the 65 year old of all his official titles, including Earl of Inverness , meaning he will henceforth be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. ‌

He will also relinquish the lease on the Royal Lodge and "relocate to alternative private accommodation", the Palace said, understood to be a property within the grounds of the Sandringham estate in Norfolk. ‌

This will be funded from the King's personal finances, the BBC reported.
