WOBURN, Mass. —

Newpro headquarters remains dark Thursday night after telling employees they're closing up shop in an email on Wednesday .

The abrupt closure has left many in limbo, including some customers who are out thousands of dollars.

Kenny Dunn points to the empty spaces in the bathroom.

"Everything was going fine," he said.

"For a day and a half," Mary Ramsey added.

The two trusted Newpro to get their bathroom renovation done quickly.

Mary says crews worked all day Monday and until about 2 p.m. on Tuesday.

But that evening, she got a call.

"And at 5 p.m. I got a call and he said, 'I don't know how to tell you this, but the company's been dissolved and we're not coming back,'" Mary said.
