ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM)- Steady rain from a coastal low continues tonight, with localized flooding possible. Low temperatures overnight will be near 41 degrees. Winds will also begin to pick up from the east around 15 miles per hour, with gusts of 25 miles per hour possible. Showers linger for Friday, but the main concern will be very strong winds. The region will fall under a wind advisory, valid from 11 a.m. on Friday, until 5 a.m. on Saturday, November 1. Gusts could exceed 40 miles per hour, and caution should be taken while driving, especially in high profile vehicles. During prime trick or treating hours tomorrow, mostly cloudy skies are expected, but some spotty showers could still remain. Strong winds will cause chilly feel like temperatures.
