The man whose company supplied guns, dummy bullets and blanks for the ill-fated Rust movie set, is suing star and producer Alec Baldwin and other key players, saying they cast him in a "false light," ruining his reputation and business.
The lawsuit, from Seth Kenney of PDQ Arm and Prop, also accuses the defendants of conversion, unjust enrichment and tortious interference, and seeks an unspecified amount of compensatory and punitive damages plus legal costs.
Kenney — who is representing himself in the case — named 39 different defendants in his 35-page complaint, filed Oct. 22 in state District Court, including the film's armorer Hannah Gutierrez Reed, director Joe Souza, assistant director David Halls and several producers and cast members.
