KENTUCKY (WKYT) - More than 600,000 Kentuckians registered to receive SNAP benefits face uncertainty as the federal government shutdown continues.

The Trump administration said benefits will not be issued on Nov. 1 if Congress cannot reach an agreement to reopen the federal government.

WKYT is collecting a list of food resources for Kentuckians in need as the situation develops.

God’s Pantry Food Bank

God’s Pantry Food Bank is one place people can turn to for food assistance.

The food bank has a network of over 500 pantries and meal programs, with several located in each of the 50 counties it serves. People can locate the pantry closest to them by visiting the God’s Pantry Food Bank website .
