CHARLOTTE, N.C. (CAROLINA SPORTS LIVE) -- Panthers center Cade Mays and outside linebacker Princely Umanmielen are not expected to be available against the Packers on Sunday, head coach Dave Canales said Thursday.
Both players were held out of practice Thursday, the team reported. Mays injured his ankle and knee against the Bills Sunday, and the rookie Umanmielen has an ankle injury.
Also not practicing Thursday was wide receiver Xavier Legette, who has an illness. But Carolina got several other contributors back.
Starting quarterback Bryce Young was listed as a full participant for the second straight day, after missing last week's game.
Right tackle Taylor Moton (knee) was listed as limited, but he was on the field in full uniform during the portion of practice open to the media.
