DEXTER -- The T-Mobile Friday Night Lights Challenge is in the books, and though Dexter Regional High School did not snag the top prize, the prize money they did receive could actually help make some serious facility improvements possible.
They ended up placing third in the challenge, and because they were finalists, they'd already received $25,000. As it turns out, placing third has snagged the school an additional $50,000 in prize money. They say they need a total of $150,000 to put up lights and make the necessary improvements.
"What we've seen out of this competition is that outpouring of support not only in our small community but across the state. I think that with this additional money that we received from T-Mobile, which we are incredibly grateful for, I think shows that we are
