CLEMSON — Clemson football quarterback Cade Klubnik is probable on the Oct. 30 availability report entering the Tigers' Week 10 game.
Clemson (3-4, 2-3 ACC) will host Duke (4-3, 3-1) on Nov. 1 (noon ET, ACC Network) at Memorial Stadium.
Klubnik suffered a right ankle sprain in Week 7 vs Boston College that kept him out of Clemson 's Week 8 game vs. SMU. It was the first time since 2014 that a Clemson starting quarterback missed a game because of injury.
Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said Klubnik practiced leading into the Duke game, and his probable status means he is "likely to play."
Instead of Swinney providing injury updates on players, the ACC has asked schools to provide availability reports before conference games this season. The ACC will release them two days before
